A Quadhelix is an orthodontic device cemented in the mouth that is attached to the upper molars. It features two or four active helix springs that gradually widen the dental arch. A quadhelix creates space for crowded teeth or correcting a posterior cross-bite, where lower teeth sit buccally to upper teeth.
